MAMA was started out of the love for independent, forward thinking film making. Being an independent filmmaker myself, I understand the difficulties in making films, showing them and ultimately selling them. We at MAMA have an ambition to build a world where film makers like myself can get the support needed for their films. Our vision is to build fully equipped studios, specifically designed for contemporary, digital productions, so that low budget promos or full scale feature films can be made with equal passion and production value.
Our production company makes these films. Our festivals show these films. The audience needs these films. I grew up in a time when the 'film' had all the power, we at MAMA want to help give that power back to the film makers of the future. MAMA is the future.
